On Sunday 5th June, we celebrated the World Environment Day by participating to the reforestation project alongside the Erythreas Street.
Under the guidance of Helli Pangalou, responsible for the study on which the reforestation project was based, the forester, Eleni Spiropoulou, and the ΤΑΤΟΪ Club garden maintenance team, our Members and Staff united their powers to participate in the planting of small trees and shrubs, contributing to the revival of the area!
At the same time, our younger Members, 5-11 years old, gathered their hopes and dreams for the future, and put them in a time capsule that they then planted together with the trees and shrubs, making a promise to bring it back to the surface 10 years later!
The planting process is expected to be completed by the 15th of June. By then, 76.350 square metres of forest are going to be regenerated, with 1.081 trees and 9.873 large shrubs having been planted.
Together we are bringing life back to the forest!
